Juphoon released the second version of MME

Multi-Multimedia Engine (refers to “MME”) is the key business in 2012. In the beginning of 2013, Juphoon released MME V2 and following new functionalities was added:

1. auto-adaptive to wireless network

a. dynamic bitrate adjustment based on available network bandwidth, supporting 3G/WiFi/LTE network, and ensure good quality of video.

b. analyze the frequency of network congestion and adopt corresponding auto-adaption strategy.

c. optimized “Bandwidth Saving Mode”, often save 50%-95% flow rate.

2. Adaptive to mobile devices

a. support background running in Android and iOS devices and seamlessly wireless network switch.

b. adaptive asymmetric media negotiation. This technology enable mobile device to send larger image to PC client and vice versa, which ensures better user experience.

Meanwhile, the core R&D team released the roadmap for MME V3. The second version is planned to be carried early in the fourth quarter of 2013. The new expecting functions include：

1. displaying friendly notification when the bandwidth is low

2. improving current MDM technology and having solved the problems caused by differences among Android devices, and finally making it support as many device models as possible.

3. Video quality enhancement: enhance video quality by adopting our own industry-leading processing technology, such as super-resolution technology, color enhancement or contrast enhancement technology, providing better user experience to users even when low resolution images are transferred from mobile devices to big-screen PCs.
